Basically I have a lot of time with Alevel results being months away etc etc and I was just trying to think of ways to get a bit of extra money.

I can type at over 120 words per minute (or two a second) with great accuracy and was just wondering if anybody had any ideas of how I could put this to good use for money?

Not gunna lie, that's not that impressive. Most people can type quickly with great accuracy these days.

I don't think it's anything special but averaging atleast two words a second I thought might be useful for something and was just wondering if there were any options out there. I mean I just thought maybe there's businesses that need things typing up.

It is actually fairly impressive, receptionists are only supposed to average 60 or something from what I remember. I only do something like 65, according to one of those old Bebo tests and I'm pretty decent for speed.

Unfortunately OP, a typist's job would probably be ideal for you but they're hard to come by and don't pay loads because there's loads of competition. Try some of the freelancer websites.

Sorry, I realise I sounded a little harsh - that wasn't intentional!

Realistically, I wouldn't say it puts you at a greater advantage for the average available job, but as someone else suggested you could advertise to type essays and such up? I don't know whether that poster was being serious but it could work out! Advertise on gumtree?

You could look at places like Take Note, where they pay you to do transcribing.
