Or, or, you could tastefully tell her to improve her diet etc or maybe suggest exercising together. I'm sure if she knew that she was becoming less attractive to you she would want to do something about it.
Little bit harsh to break up over a bit of weight gain is all.

I hope she isn't pregnant, that means she is going to be fat for 9 months.

I'll refer you to the TSR relationships forum algorithm for considering breaking up with your partner:

    1. Do you want to break up with them because you suspect them of cheating with absolutely no evidence? Goto 3. Otherwise, goto 2.
    2. OMG you're a horrible person, you should break up with them because you don't deserve someone like them!
    3. OMG they're a horrible person, you should break up with them because they don't deserve someone like you!

    But here's the real scenario:

People who break up with their partners because they suspect they're getting fat are immature. People who think that you should accept someone you're with no matter what are slightly more mature, but not by much because they're hopelessly naive and not anything like the adults they think they are. Actual adults talk to their partners if they are upset about some aspect of the relationship, and that includes losing the physical attraction they once had for that partner, if this is important to them.

Talk to her about it. I am sure she will be uncomfortable with it and wants you to help her through it.

while I agree you need some level of physical attraction to be with someone, to break up with them because you suspect that they're getting fatter instead of trying to prevent it by talking and working with her to overcome this is ... not exactly out of jerk range.

Whoah. If your boyfriend got fatter we would see who would be breaking up with who. Double standards are pathetic.

What? I'm pretty certain I'd never be shallow enough to break up with someone who I'm in love with for the pure fact that he has gained a few pounds. Plus if it affected me so much (which I highly doubt) there are a certain few things you can do without making it obvious that you have a problem with the weight gain.
