Why did you book it on that website? You should have booked on http://www.direct.gov.uk
And you really paid £94? I paid £62 for mine, and I only took mine about 8-9 months ago.

I'm afraid it's one of those sites which book it for you but ask for more money. DSA should really act on this and close these sites.

Why? It's a free market. Direct.gov.uk comes up at the top of Google for anything to do with booking your driving test. If people don't like it they should be more careful. The difference between £62 and £94 is hardly imperceptible so you can't really say they're tricking you.

You should always read the small print.

It turns out the company you've given your money to is: Edge Marketing FZ LLC

    3. Information about the Company:

    3.1

The Site is operated by the Company. The Company is registered in United Arab Emirates and has its registered office at PO BOX:11402, Dubai Media City, Dubai, UAE, +971 3902466
    3.2

Where the User has any complaint regarding the Site or the Services, the User should contact the Company. The Company shall endeavour to respond to all complaints within five working days from the date of receipt of the complaint.
    3.3

Where the User makes a complaint, the User should provide his full name, address and telephone number and where applicable, his transaction reference number or ID.
So your money is with some random person in the UAE. Give him a ring and see if he'll refund you. Good luck with that.

If you have used an unofficial booking website

DSA gets complaints from customers who have used unofficial booking websites. In most cases these websites are doing nothing illegal. This means that DSA’s powers to respond may be limited.

If you have used an unofficial booking website, you might have seven working days to cancel your order and get all your money back. However, this will depend on the terms and conditions of the website you used.

You can find more information about your consumer rights on Directgov. You can also use template letters to complain to businesses. Each letter includes details of the law that you want the trader to follow.

If you paid by PayPal try going through them.

In contrary to the above poster, they are doing nothing illegal, but if the website takes your money but doesn't give you a lesson they are breaking the law.
