OK, so having read your second blog post, I am genuinely no longer sure whether you're trolling or not. I can't remember ever reading such delusion, arrogance and ignorance in all my life. Good luck to you, mate.
I actually thought this was a troll when I read that his thai kick boxing coach described him as a god, and that he thinks he is a 9.5/10.

I think you would have more success if you were just honest and frank about this trip of yours, and cut all the crap out where you 'write for effect'.

On a more serious note OP-totally rate you for doing this. Share you views, living the rat race is a total waste of one's life in my humble opinion. I will for sure be doing similiar I imagine (but doubt it will be thailand-never been).

Questions: How much money are you taking? Have you sorted out where your going initially? How long have you spent in thailand previously?

ps. Your blog is actually quite funny...in parts

I cant be bothered with the 9-5 norm. plan is to go there for 6months and life life till i run out of savings.

    ask me anything related!
In your blog post, the pictures of the hostel look quite familiar, are you staying at a hostel near thong lo (i think) by any chance? the street food looks great too, brings back so many memories, try to avoid the testicles though unless of course you like them aha

...stalls that see a farang and instead of giving meat, they give a nice testicle that bobs innocently in your soup, mmmm

I went to Pattaya and Rayong to see my mothers family, ot much to see except a shack honestly.

Stupid question, in Pattaya are gogo bars just strip clubs or a whore house?

Nah, i don't go abroad to molest. I'm more of a sight-seeing person.

Try Chiang Mai when you get sick of Bangkok. There's a lot of people doing the whole 'multiple month trips of not really doing anything' thing in Chiang Mai, creates a nice bohemian atmosphere and unlike BKK the locals and the expats/tourists/backpackers mix a lot better in CM. Also much less of the sleaze that you get in the southern tourist areas. And it's cheaper. Plus you should really travel a bit around SEA while your there, it would be a shame not to see places like Laos, southern China, Cambodia etc.

One thing to be wary of is getting stuck in a bad routine. The devil makes work for idol thumbs, and it's easy to become an alcoholic (or worse) in a place like that and you can find yourself in some pretty dark places if you're not careful. Keep your wits about you, be sensible and try to make friends with some good people.

Lastly cut the crap about hating the 9-5 and thinking your some pioneer. People have been doing what you're doing for decades. Nobody cares, so stop worrying about what other people are doing and just concentrate on having a good time.

its good 30degrees on average, its rainy season now though, so sometimes it rains for a hour or so pretty bad, other then that I like it. Much better for me now then in sept, when I sweat too much
