Speed camera on opposite side of road flashed
Basically, I was on a dual carriage way, going over the speed limit, not much but still over, there was one of these
Spoiler:on the opposite side of the road, but at the angle it was looking at both directions. It flashed, but there were no lines on my side of the road, will that have taken my picture and am I likely to get a fine/points? There were no cars on that side of the road.Show

Re: Speed camera on opposite side of road flashed
Never seen that before but i suppose its similar to a gatso. By law cameras are not suppose to flash drivers on the opposite side of the road (you). Also there are no lines on your side, if you receive nothing theough the post in 2 weeks you are fine.
I find it odd as to why it flashed when there were no cars on the Other side though. -
Re: Speed camera on opposite side of road flashed
Have a look at the details here, but I think the ones with a flash can only zap you going the other way.
