OCD about pregnancy..? Help!
Lately, I've been becoming really OCD pregnancy.
For example, (as all boys do) I masturbate in my bed when I wake up and sometimes when I go to bed; and I often find my sister on my bed because for some reason she likes it in my room.. What if some of the sperm stayed and got her pregnant? Like, say she got onto my bed about 45 mins - 1 hour after I had done my business? I have never ejaculated all over the bed, but what if some drops of it were on the bed?
Also, what if I used the computer after I had masturbated and she had got some of the residual sperm from the keyboard onto her hands, and then itched her vagina?
Lastly, what about when I clean myself up: what if some sperm got onto the toilet seat and then my sister used that toilet. Could she get from this?!
My mum said that she had her first period last Friday (22nd June) but I've been reading up and this doesn't necessarily rule out pregnancy. For instance, her "first period" could have been implantation bleeding, and she is developing an increasingly sensitive sense of smell, and when I look at her she looks chubby (although she always has been). Furthermore, it was very hot yesterday and when she got back home she was desperate for the toilet, and she is having an odd addiction to a certain type of food.
I'm literally pulling my hair out here.... advise me - I can't exactly tell my parents, can I?! -
Re: OCD about pregnancy..? Help! No, I'm just terribly paranoid! So the answer's no?(Original post by xtinalouise)
This is a very strange topic, I must say. Is your sister sitting on your bed naked!?

Re: OCD about pregnancy..? Help!
Sperm died VERY quickly once it's left the body as conditions outside the body are not suitable to sustain it. Even in the body, it only can live a few days. I can't remember how long it lives outside of the body as the numbers vary depending on what you're reading it, but generally I've been told that it's between a few seconds and a few minutes.
So yeah, don't worry about it. I mean it's rare enough for people to get pregnant from just messing around naked with the penis near the vagina opening when the guy ejaculates, so somehow I don't think that your sister being full-clothed near dead sperm (ages after it's been released) will get pregnant from it.
But yeah, a lot of people become quite paranoid about pregnancy but just do a bit of research and make sure that you're careful when you can, but realise that getting pregnant really isn't that easy. Even people trying for a baby deliberately find it hard enough as there's only a few days a month when a woman can conceive. -
Re: OCD about pregnancy..? Help! You sure? I look at her and she has a slight bump, her sense of smell is sensitive, she had her "first period" on Friday 22nd (although this could be implantation bleeding) and lasted for 4 days...(Original post by je t'aime)
Wow...just wow.
Stop being paranoid- LOADS of women would be pregnant by now if you could get pregnant in those ways. Honestly! It's unbelievably unlikely that she will get pregnant in those ways
I can't stop thinking about it and feel as though my life is over! Help me! -
Re: OCD about pregnancy..? Help!Honestly I'm fairly sure..if you're seriously worried about this, perhaps you should talk to your doctor about anxiety as you sound incredibly concerned. Just a thought.(Original post by Anonymous)

Re: OCD about pregnancy..? Help!
I think you need to calm down a little bit, don't worry! Honestly you're fine.
I highly suggest you go and talk to your doctor about this though, he/she will be able to reassure you and provide help if needed.
The chances of your mother or your sister being pregnant are basically 0% unless they sat on your bed naked and rubbed their minge against your bed cover, and even then it's pretty impossible! Sperm dies very quickly if it is not in its optimum environment (ie, inside your body or a woman's body). -
Re: OCD about pregnancy..? Help! So, is the 0% chance also applicable to sperm on the toilet seat, or if she picked up traces of sperm from the PC keyboard and itched her vagina?(Original post by Redheaded_Dancer)

Like I said, sperm dies very very quickly when it is not in the environment it is designed to be in so even if the picked up traces of it on her fingers it would be dead, and so there is no way it could impregnate her. Also, unless she scratches her vagina with her finger inside of her, it's literally impossible, so chill out and don't worry about it

Re: OCD about pregnancy..? Help!
The chances are beyond ridiculously low! My friends who are a couple are trying for a baby and have sex all the time without a condom and its been 3 months and they havent got pregnant!
Sperm likes certain conditions, I think it needs to be body temp, so dies outside the body fairly quickly.
Also if your sister is only have her first period, it takes a while for a girls body to get in the swing of periods, the first couple are unsettled etc.
I seriously seriously seriously doubt a girl could ever get pregnant in the ways you have mentioned. Reproduction is a bit more specific in its criteria!! -
Re: OCD about pregnancy..? Help!Did I also mention that she's 12, and so she definately hasn't had sex.. therefore her hymen is still "intact"?(Original post by un-jardin-sur-le-nil)

Does this make the chances absolutely 0.000000000000000000000000000000 00000000000000000000000000000000 0000%?
Haha, thanks again x -
Re: OCD about pregnancy..? Help! You're right. The chances are probably what you just wrote or maybe even lower. Please stop worrying about this, it shouldn't even cross your mind. In the kindest possible way, are you sure you don't need to see someone about anxiety issues. It could really help you to see a doctor as someone has mentioned. You shouldn't have to put your brain through stress like this unnecessarily. x(Original post by Anonymous)

Yes I agree about seeing someone about anxiety. You are worrying about quite an odd thing to worry about tbh, and by the sounds of it it's become quite obsessive (guessing you've been looking up stuff on the Internet, implantation bleeding etc). It's not healthy for you to be worrying so much about something so far fetched. Good luck(Original post by je t'aime)

Not to be offensive or anything, but I think it would be a good idea to go speak to your doc about this, it sounds like you've got Anxiety or something similar. Don't worry about them laughing at you or judging, they're trained not to do either of those things, they've seen basically everything so you won't be somebody abnormal to them

Re: OCD about pregnancy..? Help! So, (lastly!), if a drop of sperm/semen was on the toilet seat, and then three hours later a female used that toilet, she COULDN'T get pregnant?(Original post by Redheaded_Dancer)

chill. You should see your GP though, or your thoughts and obsessions could spiral, which isn't good for you obviously.
