    Dizziness when focussing on detail
Today I tried looking at a tree blowing in the wind, and I just couldn't focus on it. The number of leaves all moving kind of messed with my brain a bit and made me a bit "out of it". The tree going in and out of focus, and my brain feeling like it was struggling to keep up.

I've had similar things when trying to watch TV, usually after watching something static (working on PC or reading a book) for a long while. I guess its a bit like motion sickness, but without any of the nausea, so more akin to derealization/depersonalisation. Things seem too detailed and it feels really trippy. There is definitely anxiety involved, although I think thats more the fear that such an unusual sensation will be permanent.

It doesn't happen often, maybe once every two months. Any ideas on what cause this. Could computer use be doing this? (I work in an office doing using the PC lots.)

I'm not sure what it might be, but I suffer from something similar. If I focus on something I have a really weird sensation in my head, like I'm burning up and if I don't look away I start to feel dizzy and sick. It's really annoying because it makes reading difficult, it's only just starting happening to me though (I'd say for the past year or so) And as a child I never really watched tv and didn't have a computer so I think it might have something to do with technology. It seems nowadays I'm forever staring at some sort of screen whether it be phone, tv or computer.

I've booked an eye test in hope of them shedding some light on it, so if I hear anything useful I'll let you know. Could be a case of straining the eyes and the brain panicking in which case reading glasses are needed? I don't know, like I said if I find anything out...

I'd say start with getting your eyes tested. If I don't wear my glasses for reading or the computer I feel like that and it usually messes me up for the whole day.

Done that the other week, they said my current ones are fine (day-long glasses wearer).
