    Self-studying Unit 1 Edexcel Economics
Hello, I'm going to self-study unit 1 of the Edexcel Economics course.

Was just wondering if any AS Economics students had any advice for me? I have found some revision notes online and was also considering buying this book: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/1...F8&me=&seller= (Edexcel AS Economics Student Unit Guide, unit 1)

Are there any better books that I can use?

    Thank you very much xx

EDIT: and how about this book? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Edexcel-AS-E.../dp/0340948043

Been a while since I self studied A Level econ. I used the unit guide closer to the exam as it had shorter notes, like those you'd write down on a revision card. The second book you've linked looks like a text book which is useful to have while studying. It will help you to structure your study. I can't comment on the book itself as I never used it.

I bought this book while studying: http://www.amazon.co.uk/A-Level-Econ...1078318&sr=1-5

It covered the whole A Level. I'd recommend going into a store like whsmiths or waterstones and flicking through the books before buying online if you're unsure on which books to buy.
