I was helping out at these at various points in various different places!

    A selection of tweets I saw: https://twitter.com/#!/stylesm/favorites

If you have any feedback by the way, I'm not sure if you get a feedback form, but I can certainly take stuff back to the University, the Students' Union, individual Schools etc

I was there today. It actually surpassed my expectations; the halls (especially Florence Boot) were very pretty and the Trent building was fabulous. It's huge, but manageable, which works in its favour.

They were on today and yesterday.

The next set of Open Days are on the 14th/15th September - http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/ugstudy/.../opendays.aspx.

That said, if you just want to see your School/Department and are desperate for a look around, you could email that School/Department and see what they say. Bear in mind that campus will be very quiet over the Summer as the undergraduates won't be there! I'll happily get a tour of the Students' Union and some other areas organised (can't promise specifically what until I ask..) if you come after July

I'll just go to one of the September ones thanks. I'm finding it hard to keep track of all these open days tbh. Is it just me or does the tsr open day calender just not work. As in, there are not enough open days on the database, meaning it doesn't list very many.

I've literally only just seen it now that you've posted it.

I'll add the Nottingham September dates to it.

The reason it's incomplete is because it's maintained by the users of TSR. Nobody has say emailed all the UK universities and asked for their open day dates!

Okay. Maybe if I get bored during the summer I'll do just that (or at least check their websites).

It was awesome, it's so green! It felt like a village in the middle of a city, much more friendly than I found Leeds to be. Definitely one of my five.

really enjoyed it, the great weather probably had something to do with it!

Really well organised on the university's part with buses from the station and just the general setup.

The current students were really helpful with any questions giving their honest opinion and great help/advice. Good choice of accommodation was open for viewing and once again that was a really good part.

I was really impressed by the facilities as well (politics) and the lecturers, they were really friendly and were open to questions before and after their speeches! Had some extra time at the end and found out they actually have a few good tennis teams - and indoor courts!

Really lovely campus and will definitely be one of my five!

ah good everyone else liked it too! Yeah, loved the campus, as it wasn't too small that you would feel like you had nothing to do! Also, there were so many halls of residence! Pretty sure I will be applying here for History (depending on what I get this results day, but hopefully!)
    Any other potential history students?

How was the history department? I mainly looked at politics but I'm considering politics and history - by the time I finally went to check out history they'd all gone
Any info you can pass on?

I loved it, i've already have an offer and i received my grade a few days ago but i hadn't been to the open day before just the UCAS one in march but we couldn't see much of the site at the time. Anyway it was lovely a real campus university, everyone was so helpful and my parents loved the place aswell.
    I'm really excited now

Do you mean the history building by the west entrance? It was never actually open, which I found a bit weird. But the humanities building next to it was open and was really nice, with computers and things
The woman who did the lecture seemed good, course sounded great too. Only a few bad points were a) 10 applicants per place and b) you have to take a module outside of history in the first year too. Not sure if this would be the same for joint. However, then I read that you could do this is anything, such as ancient greek or film and tv studies, so that shouldn't be too bad afterall. Offer is AAA.
Oh and when she was talking about joint honours I kind of switched off, but I remember her saying you choose which subject you do your dissertation in

I really fell in love with the gorgeous campus in University Park, the weather was brilliant as well.

Student ambassadors were really friendly. The chemical engineering talk was really informative, and the staff were very approachable. Current students were helpful.

Accomdation looked really pretty, especially Florence Boot.

I've only visited Birmingham so far, and Nottingham beats that by miles. For me its most likely going to be Nottingham verses Bath
