Its still a Bournemouth course and looks really good, i personally think Salisbury is a better are anyway.

Yeah im taking This course too, still havent got accommodation yet If any other freshers are moving into a place with another room would be awesome to get in with someone on the same course! Also at the interview day i met a couple of guys but i forgot all details, i know one of them did something in advertising as preparation but if u can remember me im will haha :L

I've not got accomodation either, I'm just looking around at a few places though right now... I got sent a list of various places that are offering external accomodation from the college though, so I'm looking through that.

Hey im staring in september too Anyone know when freshers week is? i got a letter saying the course starts on the 24th of september but didnt say anything about freshers i need to know cos i gotta hand in my notice, cant wait

I'm moving in on the 15th into external accomodation. I think Freshers starts around then, not sure at all though.

Hey guys, I had no idea there were any posts online like this, but I'm also starting the Film Production & Cinematography course on the 24th although, I had no idea about Freshers until now (as the college didn't tell us anything and I only just found the Facebook page) and I don't move in until the 23rd into external accomodation :/ so I guess I'm gonna miss it all - excited to start the course though

This is a question to anyone who has got a place on the Film Production & Cinematography course @ Bournemouth (Wiltshire) Uni.

What's the interview process like? Do they ask for a portfolio, and if so, what kind of work did you take along? I'm interested in the course but am worried my portfolio (which is non-existent at the minute) won't be enough to cut the grade! And what sort of things do you they ask you about during the interview?

Can someone tell my why there is a bad reputation with Salisbury I have got an 'interview' for Bournemouth and am seriously considering going there.

There is nothing actually bad about Salisbury, students sometimes don't like it because the nightlife isn't great. The course itself is one of the best in the country so its worth considering going.
