Providing you have some skill and experience writing, you could conceivably go into journalism using your knowledge of Economics, so long as you're capable of applying it to real world scenarios as opposed to just regurgitating economic theories into a blog that no one reads.

You could work at a hedge fund, or be an economic correspondent for a news channel maybe. Or something totally unrelated. It depends, it's a respected degree, so the possibilities are essentially limitless.

Nightmare. I've worked the back shift on occasion and even doing that there's not much chance of a social life.

I have (had) two economics teachers one graduated from Cambridge with an economics degree the other from Oxford with an economics degree. They are both teachers and thoroughly enjoy it.

You could do, within reason, literally anything. It's important to realise that have an Economics degree is only a platform, and provides the stepping stone into a wide array of both lucrative and intellectually stimulating careers.
