Because it's heavy for your height. Stating you like to be heavy isn't healthy.
Sorry to butt in, but 9.4 stone is fine for 5'2" - I'm saying this according to both the BMI calculation and the fact that I used to be that weight (same height) and looked/felt fine.
I'm 10st 3lbs now, though, which is definitely not healthy! Have started going to the gym regularly and eating more sensibly, and it's slowly creeping off
I always felt my best at around 120lbs, so I'm aiming for that.

Re: 5ft girls - how much do you weigh?Lol, you just said that to one of the fittest, leanest and strongest females on this forum...again proving that pure numbers aren't the be-all and end-all.(Original post by Yung Mon£y)

Re: 5ft girls - how much do you weigh?I'm 5 and 8" and my weight varies between 9 1/2 to 10 stones. I'm a size 12 usually and pretty happy(Original post by honeyandlemon)
Hey.
I'm 5ft tall and I weigh 8 and a half stone. Clothes size 10-12. I've got a curvaceous figure with a 30FF chest so my proportions are OK. But I'd feel happier with some weight off.
I have PCOS which means I have metabolism problems and difficulty shifting weight. But I've been diagnosed recently so I'm excited to cut out refined carbs and hopefully see some results. The lowest I've been is just under 8 stone, but even then I still felt like I would have looked better slimmer.
I really want to get weight loss into gear, get healthy and get my bust down a bit. I was wondering how much do other girls of a similiar height to me weigh and how do they feel at that weight? I want to be slim but still shapely. Not skinny and childish looking as I'm short anyway.
Fellow five-footers, please reply!

Re: 5ft girls - how much do you weigh?Yeah but I was 12 haha.(Original post by darkxangel)
4"10 and 66lbs, are you sure?
I agree, shorter people will look more different if they gain or loose a couple a kgs, it makes less of a difference with tall people.
I'm 120lbs at 5"1. -

How about then she states that? Giving your weight in no context will lead to it being interpreted as the weight for a normal person.
If a guy said he was 20 stone and happy, he could be slated for being grossly overweight. Then if he added his name was Phil Heath, well that changes it does it not?

Re: 5ft girls - how much do you weigh?Your idea of "fine" is probs slightly tubby and not looking so hawt in a bikini.(Original post by roarosaurus)

My idea of fine is fit, healthy and looking good in a bikini or equivalent swimwear. -
Re: 5ft girls - how much do you weigh? How about you stop basing your ideas about how people look/how healthy they are on the numbers being posted in this thread? (Which is what I have been trying to point out to all from the beginning that there is no point doing).(Original post by Yung Mon£y)

My point stands. If you give your weight without context, well peeps are gonna presume it's the weight for an average person, and the average person barely exercises. In fact the average woman is considered overweight:

Re: 5ft girls - how much do you weigh?Well then, perhaps you should edit the post I originally quoted, so that instead of saying this:(Original post by Yung Mon£y)

"stating you like to be heavy isn't healthy"
it says this:
"stating you like being a weight I assume I wouldn't consider attractive in a bikini (despite not knowing your muscle mass/ body frame/ what you actually LOOK like, etc.) has absolutely nothing to do with health, but because I think all women should conform to my aesthetic standards I disapprove of it."
That's better, I think

I'm a size 12-14 depending on the shop
I think bmi is bit iffy if you're really short or really tall.
