Just joined the site and thought I'd follow the first welcome instruction to introduce myself...

I'm interested in photography and looking to start my uni application this September. Hope I get to know some of you guys on here I've been using this site for a while to look up threads, but never had an account to reply until now. I'm looking forward to being able to actually contribute now!

Hi Sammie, and welcome to TSR, well welcome to posting anyway!

I study Media Production at university and have a massive interest in both film and still cameras myself. What is it you want to study at uni?

Thanks I'm hopefully going to study maths or something maths-based at uni, but still holding out to results day to see how my AS results hold up and then decide finally on the kind of course I'd prefer

How's DMU and Leicester as a place? I've been looking at UoL rather than DMU :P

Hi, ah that's cool if you do actually come to Leicester!!!

DMU is just amazing, however I am very biased lol, but it just amazing. Great for parties and having a really good time, not maybe what everyone looks for in a uni, but you sure will look back on your uni time with loads of top memories at DMU!
Leicester is really cool, with loads of students it makes a fantastic night out! xxxxx

But, if you are not the massive party type then DMU and Leicester still has loads to offer and you wouldn't be unhappy :-) xxxxxx

I'm not much of a party type really, haha. I'm fine having a good time, just to not as extreme measures as others :P
