    Macbook Upgrade
Looking to upgrade my Early 2011 15" MBP

Anybody help as to what RAM (8GB) and SSD will be of best value, best shop to buy from and which type of each would I need?

    £200 for total upgrade really.

Also, Planning on recycling my old HDD and using it as an external so a HDD Caddy with USB would be a nice add on.

I have heard Crucial do RAM for great prices. The 8GB spec is £40 for the 13" MBP. Check it out on their website. Not sure about SSD's though sorry.

As said above, Crucial do well priced RAM and seem to have a good reputation. They also sell SSDs, not sure on their prices though. Check out the Computing section of hotukdeals, there's usually a few gloating around.

I've been using this for a while. It's been perfect.
