    Oh come on, it's not like you're genetically inclined to be with an oriental lad. Parents need to understand this, and the fact that it is your decision to be with who you want.

    Your mum is being pathetic.

    Don't take the pic down, there is no point reacting to racists. Just ignore and leave alone.

    You shouldn't take the pic down and it wasn't your fault your mum got upset, it's such a non-issue to be angry about that you probably can't even have predicted it! In the long run, you'll have to decide if making your mum happy is more important to you than having a relationship with the person of your choice (especially if you do end up dating a non-oriental guy) but for now I think it's a good idea to defend your right to manage the small things in your life (like Skype pictures), being an adult and all.
