    hi,

i live in the UK but my fee status hasn't been confirmed yet, so it maybe that i'm classified as an overseas student. my question is, if i am classified as an overseas student, i will not be needing a visa as i already live in the UK, but despite this, will the university still require me to provide information about my parents' financial ability to pay the fees? normally this is necessary for student visa application processes but do you know whether they would require financial information from someone in my situation, who doesn't need a student visa to the UK but who is an international student? i really need some help, so if anyone has any information, please share it! thank you!!

When I was helping an American come over here to study, the university didn't want anything - but she would have needed a visa. I wouldn't imagine the uni will be too bothered, if you don't pay your fees you can't go onto the next year / graduate but the best bet is to contact your university(s) directly and ask them, as different unis may be do different things
