    Diluted Powerade
I invested in a couple of bottles of Powerade earlier today, mainly because I wanted a couple of those Olympics sports bottles they're giving away

So I'm thinking I mightaswell drink the Powerade while I'm at it.

A typical gym morning for me will involve:
    1. Protein shake + banana
    2. Resistence training (45 mins)
    3. Interval training on treadmill (25 mins)

I only tend to drink water before / during / after my workouts but I was thinking of going with something like this during next few sessions:
    1. Water before the gym
    2. 500ml drink during workout (125ml Powerade + 375ml water)

I hear these types of drinks are only supposed to be for athletes due to their high sugar content, but what if I'm watering it down that much with only 1/4 of the actual drink itself?

Would it be so weak it would be pointless having it on a permanent basis?

By all means drink it undiluted - as long as you're doing high intensity exercise.
