Degree choices with these A levels?
    Physics
    Maths
    History

    And either...

    English
    Or
    Geography
    Or
    Philosophy

Which one out of the three on the either list would you choose and why?
What degree choices would I be open to with the A levels above?

My school doesn't do further maths btw.
    Thank you!

PPE is what first springs to mind with you having History and Maths.

You could also do History and Economics or History and Politics.

I'd say when choosing your 4th subject just pick whichever you'd enjoy most, they are all good versatile subjects and he three you've picked already give you lots of options.

However I'll throw my two pence in, if you're leaning towards a degree in a science I suggest you do Geography.

If you really, really like English, do English but if you're not so keen on it do Philosophy. Eng lit is a lot of hard work and you have tough subject lined up already so if you're less than 100% keen on it you're better off doing a subject with a slightly less heavy work load but is still respected.

Thank you! Do you think geography is better if I want to do a science degree?

Thank you! I actually want to do English Lang and lit combined as I don't think I'd be able to sit through 2 years of pure literature. I'm a bit worried about taking geography for A level as I haven't done it at GCSE as I wasn't given the option to, so I don't want to fall behind during AS. I think I'd like philosophy but a lot of people tell me it's a waste of taking it?! Which A levels do you or have you taken if you don't mind me asking?

    Thanks again.

I did History, English Literature, government and Politics and Geography (which I dropped after AS)

I also seriously considered doing Philosophy instead of Geography and I now rather wish I had done. I took Geography in order to have a bit of a contrast to my other essay subjects.

If you're wanting to go for a science degree, maybe consider taking another science instead to 'broaden your horizons' or whatever.
If you really don't want another lab-based science, then yes, geography is a really good option to put down.

If you're leaning towards sciences already then you will enjoy it but it just didn't work with my skill set (sorry to sounds pretentious there )

Lots of people I know love geography after doing it for a level (including my own brother and one of my closest friends) and are going to do it at university.
