I rarely go out and drink till I get drunk. However, last Friday we got our results for 1st year uni so I got a bit sober... I was also upset as I need to take the resit exam.

They are all my group mates who I see everyday at uni. Usually, I can notice one of them paying a bit more attention to me, compliment me ect ect. The main thing is I dont want to have any awkward relationship in our group. So I basically friendzoned my group mates.

Recently, 2 of the guys texted around 3 times me to find out if I would go out. I didnt think much abt it as I thought it was normal to ask. The 3rd one never showed any affection towards me.

When I was sober and waiting for my girl friends, the 1st guy who usually shows he cares for me, came up. He started asking if I am ok. Then he immediately tried to kiss me... I went backwards like oooohhh and pulled away from his face. However, his lips did touch my lips... I was really pissed off! I didt expect it and also it was so rude to me! He went off right after as he was angry!??!

The 2sd guy went out with his GF. He never shows any affection towards me so I kinda feel more comfortable with him. He said hi to me and tried to hug me. I hugged him and then all the sudden, he lifted me up!!! I was shocked! I am quite heavy and tall tbh... ( 1m7 68kg ) so I was like WTH! Then he put me back to the floor and I think he tried to touch my bottom but he missed it as my skirt was floaty! I was freaked out!!!!

The 3rd guy who is always being nice to me as a friend. He recently did start being a bit touchy eg he touched my hair playfully ect. It was fine to me.
When I was in a club, he came from behind me and touched my hair... I didnt know who that was and I turned around, he grabbed my cheek and started touching my face like I am a baby!!! I was like WTH!!! I didnt have time to react, he kissed on my forehead and went off!!! WTH!

The 4th guy is my senior who is 1 year older than me. He is quite close to me so he knows I was upset. Normally, I try my best not to send any wrong signals to him or being over friendly as he was my best friend's ex... On Friday, I was crying before going out due to my bad result, he tried to cheer me up so he hugged me and touched my arm ect ect. I didnt think it was weird till he got drunk. He kept asking me along the night if I am ok, I said yes many time. Then at 3 times, he stood behind me and held both of my arms to make me dance... he was like hugging me from the behind if that makes sense. It would be much better and normal to me if he did that in front of my face... He always tried to stand next to me and touched my hands accidentally while we were dancing... so weird as he is like my brother...

Are they all trying to play with me? They are my good group mates when they are not drunk! What happened to them? ( I am scared of my drunken guy friends now! I feel like when they are drunk all they want is to be touchy...

Why are you worrying so much? If you don't like the close contact just tell them straight up (without being rude) that you don't like it.

You dont understand how many girls ive kissed while being drunk. Ive also slept with my friends (girls). this does not mean they like you. Have you ever been drunk in ur life? should try it sometimes and stop moaning about these little stuff.

2nd guy it seems to be some fun he lifted you not a big deal, who cares how much you weigh to be honest it could have just been because he had a drink. No harm done
3rd guy bit strange to be honest, tell him to stop touching you
4th guy its a hard one... if he is that close to you seems strange to dance like that but he touched your hand once again no big deal

I have never been interested in being more than friends with the 4 above guys...

The thing is that its getting awkward in our group now. I don't think they were that drunk to not rmb what they have done... It's just I feel annoyed that I cannot be comfortable around them anymore... Obviously, I cannot tell them you straight what I think as we see each other every single day for the next 2 years I want to keep the good friendship....
I don't know what to do... Now I am kind of avoiding them if I go out...

I agree! You cannot pretend you are drunk or blame that you were drunk, then give yourself a right to kiss, touch others!

Also, the 4th guy talked me yesterday on facebook again. It freaked me out when he put many xxxx after his sentences since he never did before till recently... His sentences sound a bit too sweet for a friend eg : I will be here for you... Text me if you need someone to listen to/ help you or just be there for you... Those things freaked me out seriously! Oh dear, now I cant feel comfortable asking him for even academics advice...

I dont think any of them fancy me apart from the 1st one who might a bit... They are always my friends or brothers... weird to think abt!!!

People get touchy feely when they're drunk. A little bit more so because they're guys and you're a girl, but guys 1-3 sound like nothing to me.

Non-sexual touching (eg: hands,face), hugging, lifting, even the forehead kiss - sounds like the sort of thing my (straight) bf does with his guy mates (and indeed probably girl mates) when he's drunk! You're reading into their behaviour too much.

Guy 1 definitely has a thing for you, but seeing as you pushed him away, I don't think you need to say/do anything more. He should have got the message,

Ok it might be just me then. I still do not get why they have done so. I am not a person who likes going out. They know me well that I do not like physical contacts as they are my group mates for a year. I guess I just need to stay away from them when they are drunk as I cannot help feeling awkward if they do the same thing again!

No big deal for everyone else but not me! As I said, they know me clearly I do not like any physical contact with them. If mates do that when they get drunk, then I should only be there mates when they are not drinking!

I kiss my male friends often, hug them, play fight with them. It's not at all weird, try not to be so uptight, don't worry and try to forget about it. Seems normal to me.

Edit: Grind on the dance floor with them it's all in good fun.

I don't think there is anything sinister going on with them, but if you don't want them to touch you then you must tell them! It might be a bit awkward but if you feel uncomfortable speak out before you get even more upset about it because they might not realise they are making you feel bad and i'm sure they don't want to do that.

I understand you want to keep the relationship with them all, who wouldnt but dont put up with anything that makes you uncomfortable.

With putting xxx after a email i would not worry. it is strange that he has not done it before but when i text a girl or boy i put xx doesnt mean anything to me

Drinking is a excuse for people sometimes
for example if they want to kiss you they may feel better after a drink then if it back fires like it did they can say sorry i was drunk etc etc
