I'm going to a local college and doing Law, Psycology, History and Photography I feel really dumb doing subjects like this when I see people doing all sciences and stuff :/ anyone else doing subjects like this?

    (Original post by brightbulb)
Sociology, Economics, History (+ compulsory General Studies)

    (Original post by Mushrooms)
don't feel sum because you are not taking certain subjects, it is whatever you enjoy and are good at. I know that I am hopeless at music and art and am very uncreative so would probably fail at photography, music, art and subjects like that and this may be the same for people who are doing science like subjects.

I am doing History, Latin, Maths and Geography but I might change them because I think they may be too hard

    (Original post by Kermitt)
Hey, if you enjoy them subjects, then do them! I am doing Spanish, English Literature, History and Politics.

    Maths
    English Literature

Don't know about the other two at the moment, I don't want an essay subject, a technology subject or economics which leaves me with sciences... Then again, I'm not sure if I should do those either as I adored chemistry at GCSE which doesn't mean I will at A level. So confused at the moment. I'm picking these really carefully because I usually mess up all my decisions like I did with my options.

I've just filled out my college application. I put down English Language, English literature, History and psychology. I chose my subjects based on my ability and enjoyment! Don't feel dumb...just do what you enjoy, otherwise you're in for a loooong 2 years!!

I chose biology chemistry history and economics and I want to do medicine at imperial or kings I really like all the subjects I picked and I know tht some people say u need maths for medicine but I didnt even want to go for maths in the taster do thought I wont enjoy as much as history. I'm predicted A star for history gcse and got a B for maths. Are these subjects ok for medicine or should I definitely pick maths.. Help would be appreciated! Thanks

Don't do maths. It isn't required for medicine and it will be much better for your application to have a good grade in history than a bad grade in maths.
