A2 maths, Further maths and the three sciences

Yes, I am crazy
It is not for dumb people(Original post by iJess)
Well I'm doing hairdressing and people think that is for dumb people! I just don't fancy going along the university route. I love hairstyles and stuff and meeting new people so it's what I want to do

Re: What's everyone doing at college?science is the MOST creative of subjects(Original post by Mushrooms)
don't feel sum because you are not taking certain subjects, it is whatever you enjoy and are good at. I know that I am hopeless at music and art and am very uncreative so would probably fail at photography, music, art and subjects like that and this may be the same for people who are doing science like subjects.
I am doing History, Latin, Maths and Geography but I might change them because I think they may be too hard
next time you look at your iphone, realise who built it, an artist or a engineer? -

Re: What's everyone doing at college?Pah. I used to be a snob in that respect but now I see that to succeed in life one must do what they like. No point in doing all Sciences and getting DDU.(Original post by _Shmiley)
I'm going to a local college and doing Law, Psycology, History and Photography
I feel really dumb doing subjects like this when I see people doing all sciences and stuff :/ anyone else doing subjects like this?

Re: What's everyone doing at college? An artist designed the aesthetic parts though. That is pretty important too. The iphone wouldn't be half as popular if it didn't look so good.(Original post by Dukeofwembley)

Re: What's everyone doing at college?Exactly. I had a mate who did a btec in music production while i did all science and maths A levels. at the time i was all snobby and branded him a faliure but 3 years later he's at uni, hes meeting people and selling his grime beats for £50 a track and generally having a good time. While I due to various personal issues and crappy social skills am stuck at home doing nothing with my life. I'm not saying it's because I did the tougher option because science is what I'm good at and I love it. i'm saying that you can never judge someone who is doing something they love with their life as a faliure. What is success? Making money? Pleasing others? Pleasing yourself? I got the vibe from teachers at my school that I'm a failure for not applying to do medicine or engineering with my grades. But do I care? No. I like chemistry and it is what I want to do when I go to university regardless of it's prestige or salary bracket.(Original post by iJess)

Re: What's everyone doing at college?Actually, in Engineering we mainly do design related work and drawing. So I assume an Engineer designed it too.(Original post by Podcaster)

Re: What's everyone doing at college?Yeah practical design not aesthetic design.(Original post by dinrah04)

Re: What's everyone doing at college?Yeah exactly. I have high ambitions. I hope to have my own business one day with it(Original post by Podcaster)

Re: What's everyone doing at college?
My college is the best place! Great new campus hawt girls (lol out of my league) but a lot of people think I'm intelligent because I want to do Biology/Chemistry/French/Maths but that is just an illusion lol. I personally think I'm a dumb kid and I can only get these things when thoroughly taught so or when I put more effort into it.
