Applying to uni in continental Europe?
I'm starting my final year in high school in Scotland. I've always wanted to go to uni in Hungary or the Netherlands or Germany or something, but I realise now I have genuinely no idea about how I could go about applying to somewhere not in the UK. Is it done through UCAS?

I'm sorry to ask such a silly question, just I really have no idea how I would do this.

You would need to first of all finance this yourself as you won't get loans / tuition fees from student finance. You would also need to apply to the universities you're interested in directly as well as being able to speak the chosen universities country main language. You can't go to a German university and expect the government to fund this and the universities to speak English just for you.

I'm aware of the linguistic barriers; I speak more than one language fluently so it's not like I'm going to swan in and force foreign unis to teach in English.
