    So today I ate...
Breakfast: omelette with rye bread and tomatoes, green tea
Lunch: jacket potato with chilli and salad
Snack: home-made flapjack (no sugar, low fat)
Dinner: salad consisting of spinach, tomatoes, peppers, with cottage cheese

Didn't have time to do much exercise, all I could do was about 20 minutes walking to and from the station ):

Woke up feeling good today (: I am starting to see little improvements, like the shorts I just put on are a teensy bit looser! Might be a daredevil and step on the scales later, as it has been 1 week since I started my (very) healthy diet.

The weather is gross today so might go for a swim.

    Good luck with your transformation!

Where about do you go roller skating? Just outdoors or in a skating place? It's something I've wanted to do more but I think I'd feel odd going out and about with roller skates, and there's nowhere by me that I could go do it

Thank you! Are you taking part too?

I have a park just down the road which is pretty ideal, it's completely flat and circular so I just go round and round! But the weather is mostly awful so I can't go as often as I'd like.

Yeah it sometimes feels odd especially with all the looks I get but I'm like screw them, and I love whizzing past people leaving them with confused looks on their faces

Yeah, managed to bag up the courage to post my entry tonight. Should keep me motivated to keep going to the gym and having a healthier lifestyle

I've got a skate park kinda thing near me which I guess would be somewhere to go, although it's often full of kids! (Then again, the rubbish weather could aid in getting rid of them haha!) I should get someone else to get a pair with me for the moral support! I always roller skated around the street and stuff when I was a kid and I've always wanted to do it again!

So this is what I ate today...

Breakfast: porridge made with rice milk with chopped peach
Lunch: lentil curry and after sardine with avocado
    Snack: home-made flapjack
Dinner: egg salad with side salad of lettuce, etc. Plus a peach.

Also went for 50 minute walk. But I have a trapped nerve so until it's sorted exercise is going to be difficult

So far today, for breakfast I had porridge (smaller portion than yesterday, I kinda overdid it), for lunch egg salad, mackerel with peppers and cucumber and as a snack 2 carrots and some hazelnuts.

For din dins I had white fish with peas.

I have to say this low-carb diet is making me feel slightly faint.. even though I'm having a lot of protein and taking iron supplements I still feel really weak.

If you'd looked at my diet say 3 weeks ago it would've looked nothing like it is now haha, it's very hard for me to stick to it.. but I reckon another week and it will be set in my mind and the cravings will be gone.

    Don't make yourself feel ill

Are you too active to be so low in carbs? Maybe include some fruit in your diet, drink more milk, have yoghurt?

I just came back from a walk and I feel miles better :3

I'm not sure it is the carbs making me feel weak, I think it's because I'm slightly anaemic.. might have to start taking supplements

I will try to have more fruit maybe, thanks for the suggestion

    Soooo today has been good!

Tbh I can't even remember what I had for breakfast (how bad is that!) but I know it was healthy
Lunch was jacket potato with tuna at Wetherspoon's. They didn't have the salad I wanted But it was only around 580 cals so all is ok.
Didn't have any snacks because I was on the go. Haven't had dinner yet either. I think I'll just have some vegetables or something. Not too hungry.

Went shopping for trousers for my holiday today, was pleased to see that 16's are too big for me in most shops now, so I'm a large 14. Hopefully by the end of my weight loss program I'll be down to a nice 12!

Good luck with your transformation! I just read your posts and it looks like we're in a similar position. I gained about 2 stone in the last 1.5-2 years, due to stress and junk eating mainly (I don't actually particularly like junk food much, just sometimes get a craving when I feel stressed and low in energy, and then go overboard). I too am size 14/16 and am hoping to be a size 12 by the end, like I was two summers ago. Just wanted to say good luck really and good effort so far! Keep going
