should I sell my netbook and buy a laptop?
I currently have a 2 year old Dell inspiron netbook. It's quite slow but ok it you're patient with it and it's very small! For uni, should I sell this and buy a proper laptop? I don't need anything fancy. I would get about £200 for my netbook and we already have a windows student package at home that I could put on it.for free, and I can apparently transfer my antivirus software across.

Is it worth it just for a faster computer and bigger screen? I would.only really use it for work since I use my phone more for general surfing.

    Thanks

It's what my mum has offered me since she wants my netbook. She doesn't trust 'this new stuff' as she puts it and thinks if she buys a brand new one it will attempt to kill her or something. Long story...

Yeah, a full sized keyboard will make typing way easier and the bigger screen is a plus for films etc

Fair enough - in which case I would sell it to your Mum and invest a further £200 in a decent laptop for uni.
