    Msc Psychology Conversion Course
    Hi,

I posted a little while ago but think in the wrong place.

Are any of you hoping to do the Msc Psychology Conversion Course at Chester this September?

    Hiya, That's great.
My course is a new one, it's awaiting accreditation......not sure if anyone else has applied and is hoping to start too?
Did you do Psychology in your degree too?

    Hey.
I have applied and got an unconditional offer of acceptance for the MSc Psychology Conversion at Chester also! The same though obviously I'm waiting for it to get accredited but the lady I spoke to at the BPS seems pretty confident; apparently its just taking a while for their team to work through the process...

Yeah, same here. They understand how difficult it is for everyone and I'm pretty sure they will push for a final decision on the accreditation soon.
Just can't wait to get that confirmation....so much to sort out before September!

Yep I know how you feel I keep checking the BPS website, I'm becoming obsessed...it needs to stop Same here, first of which my manager would very much like to know if I am coming or going...

Anyway I'm sure we will hear soon enough, here's to hoping!

Same here! You aren't alone in the obsessing haha....I too need to sort out work and finances and it's not something I thought I would be leaving so 'late in the day' ....... (In terms of the 'stalking', I love that you are doing that to the BPS website, I save mine for the PGrad Admin team

Oh good! I'm glad ha Its nice to know I am not alone in obsessing! So do you live in Chester or will you be commuting? Thankfully I've managed to save all the money for the tuition fee's it will now be a case of being a recluse for a year, hopefully! What have the PGrad Admin team had to say? The lady at the BPS told me to phone tomorrow as they should be going through everything this week so thats what I will be doing...Oh plus I've bought £160 worth of books so they had better get used!!!

Organized...mm maybe a little too much sometimes so it would seem!

I'll most likely be driving with the teaching just being every Wednesday, same as you about an hour for me also.

Yeah I phoned and spoke to the same woman...she said she has had a few calls today regarding the Chester course but unfortunately due to changes in the office they've not been able to get around to going through everything yet. She said try again in a couple more working days (tues or weds next week)

I just don't like the uncertainty one bit!!! haha

Let me know if you hear before me as I am working on and off this week and won't have a great deal of 'stalking time'

It is very frustrating but we know that either way, it is going to HAVE to be resolved by the end of July, so keep that as a focus

Well the stalking is unsuccessful! The lady at the BPS said that now all communication about the course is to be done via the University and admissions team, there have been developments, but the Uni have said they're still waiting for an official decision...tick tock tick tock...

Hope your week of work is not too taxing! I'm on annual leave

    It's unbearable isn't it !

The last time I spoke to them, they said the same to me....to wait and see what the Uni says to us as they couldn't deal with any more correspondence.

Work's ok, but be happier if we knew about the course

Unbearable is the word I would also use yes! Haha It is getting pretty annoying now I want to know what I'm doing...but hey I guess the answer will inevitably arrive...at some point

I was hoping for some good news this week as I said I'm on annual leave from work, and return on Monday still without an answer for my manager which is going to annoy her but I can't do anything about it I guess

    Re: Msc Psychology Conversion Course
Hi all, I have just applied for the psychology conversion course. I finished my masters in counselling a few weeks ago and am awaiting the result. I wasn't aware that I could do a conversion course until about a week ago (thought I'd have to do a full psychology undergraduate degree!) so really glad I found this course!

I live in Stoke on Trent so I will commute, but I also work part-time in Chester so it's no big deal. I'm going to be paying for the course out of my wages each month so will be really skint but it's only for a year.

Anyone know how many are on the course? I was told to apply quickly as places were getting tight, but maybe that was to secure my fees lol
