Hi,
As Happy_Holidays said - you may be able to transfer at the end of the first year.
The first year of all nursing branches is a common foundation year. All branches are taught together and so, it wouldnt really matter which branch you were with.
When i studied at Southampton, i had a friend that wanted to transfer branches. she was told that she would have to speak to the award leader about her reasons for wanting to change branch and then they would review her case and either allow it or not. As it happens, she was lucky and granted permission to change branches.
I would contact the Uni and see what their policy is, but you should be able to as long as there are spaces on the course and your reasons are valid
