Who else needs to sell a lot of stuff before they leave for uni? Anyone want to join me in a challenge to see how much we can make?

I did this last year and made close to £1000.

Although I would advise you to think hard about what you sell. I finished uni a few weeks back and now have an empty room with a bed to keep me occupied until october.

I'm selling rubbish this weekend; once I finally turn 18 tomorrow I can use my own ebay account. Not going to uni but need some more space for my A2 textbooks...
Got enough books to sink a battleship.

Good luck! I also have tons of books, and realised I'll never read them all before uni even if i read 3 a day from now until I leave!

I'm glad I'm not the only one! Tried to find a revision textbook to return to the sociology department this morning and created an avalance in my bedroom. Mum won't be pleased as she has only just hooved in there the other day...
I might get them all read if I read 3 a day, but since half on them are 'The Princess diaries' from when I was a kid, I'll doubt I'll find them that riveting.
At least as I have my Kindle, I shouldn't really need to buy any books in hard format for a while.

But the books are just half the problem...over the years I have managed to hoard around 5 bin-bags full of stuffed animals. I need to sort them out; which to keep & which to go, but I did that once when I was 10 and found that there was only one I could give away and that was only because the stuffing was coming out and its eye was loose (old bear that has wood for stuffing and eyes on stalks). I'm a sucker for them And I'm too attached to let them all go...

I wanted to but my mum said that the police would get me ¬_¬
I gave up in the end trying to convince her. It is like trying to convince Karl Pilkington that the Taj Mahal is a wonder of the world; won't have any of it.

Does anybody else feel like they're buying more stuff on eBay than they're selling?

Does anyone know a good website for selling books? Preferably something easy like music magpie - amazon and ebay would take wayyyy too long with the amount I have :/
