    RAF Pre-conditioning course
    Hi,

I have been warned that I may have to attend RAF Halton two weeks before starting RTS to do a pre-conditioning course as I am female.

I was wondering if anyone of here had done this or knows much about it and can give me some information.

I mainly would like to know what it is like whether it is as intense as RTS.

Any info would be greatly appreciated

It will all make RTS look like a walk in the park!

Seriously - lots of steady fitness to work you up to standard. Your training will make you think RTS was nothing by the end.

The conditioning course has been scrapped. They ran it when the Pre-Joining Fitness Test standards were lower, but got rid of it when the entry standards were raised to match the actual levels required when in service with the RAF.

It is still mentioned on the RAF Careers website, but they aren't great at updating it.
