Alexandra Halls!!Hey, I've got a place in the Alexandra halls in aberystwyth with the ensuite. I went to the open day but didn't think about looking down by the seafront for the halls. I've heard it's a very nice place to live but unable to find any videos or photos of the ensuite rooms. Has anyone else heard if there living in these halls? Cannot wait going to be amazing!!!

AH! Alex Halls, love that place...the Halls from my first year Unfortunately I didn't have an ensuite room or know anyone that did (there aren't that many ensuite rooms!) Thanks cannot wait... Also is there any rules on tvs? I have a ps3 and was wondering can I buy a tv or do I need to buy a monitor and use that as my tv? Also if we do have tv what channels do you have???

Re: Alexandra Halls!!Hey, I just finished my first years living in Alexandra Halls. You are allowed a TV aslong as you pay for a TV license, you get all the freeview channels, as this is what some of my flatmates did. Hope it helps!(Original post by NAV1SS)

Re: Alexandra Halls!!There isn't wifi in Alex Halls, or there wasn't last year so unless they install it for September I don't think you'll have it. Not sure about wifi hotspots, sorry :/
As for bed size - the single beds at Aber are a good size (more than enough room for two if that's what you're thinking!!) and some rooms in Alex halls have doubles, you should get an e-mail nearer the time if this is the case. Even with a double bed it's worth getting a single duvet as it's likely you'll have a single bed anyway when you move into your own place
