    East Anglia University [UEA]
    Hi all,

I'm not going to be much help here, as I don't know what course I want to take as of yet.

But, I'm wondering what peoples opinions of UEA are?
It's ranked 27th place on the Uni League tables.

You should probably visit the UEA sub-forum to get more of an idea of what it's like.
Unfortunately (as my firm choice) I can't give an unbiased depiction of UEA.

Go to UEA! I don't care where else you're applying! Go to UEA!

I'm not in any way biased...*cough cough* Firm/only choice.

Seriously. I love UEA. Everyone was really nice and friendly to me at the open day, the lecturers seemed pretty interested, they gave me cake at the open day. Cake. It has a huge lake, which is gorgeous. Norwich is an amazing city and UEA's top in the country for things like Pharmacy and English with Creative Writing. And it's kind of the place to be in terms of where students like going the most. I've never heard anyone say anything bad about it apart from criticising the concrete that's all over the campus.

Ive got an insurance offer there. It looks pretty nice uni, nice city, friendly atmosphere and a respectable degree. I wouldnt worry about 'league table' rankings. Theyre all completely different IE the guardian put UEA in the top 20 and others say its getting worse.

If you like it and you think the grades are gettable for you then go for it
