Exam Board for A Level Chemistry
Today, the head of science at my school told me that universities sometimes ask for higher grades in chemistry if you study OCR B Salters. I was planning to change schools, where they offer this course, as I'd rather go to the other school, however my current school offer AQA, and I was wondering whether I'd be at a disadvantage if I studied OCR B Salters. Has anyone experienced this?

Re: Exam Board for A Level ChemistryThat is totally untrue, no university will ask for a different grade just be cause it's the B spec. If anything OCR B Salters is one of the harder Chemistry specs. All they care about is it needs to be a Chemistry A level, the type of syllabus is totally irrelevant.(Original post by lizz-ie)
