Am i going to drive?
Hello family,
I just registered on this forum and found it quiet interesting, people here are lovely from what i see.I'm a newbie in terms of insurance and stuff, just passed my practical driving test and now got my full driving license.I heard that this postcode things is something that is really killing people,i don't know but according to a friend he said where am living actually will surely increase my premium because i live in a high risk area,so i should find an alternative for my insurance. Can somebody advise me on this,i'm looking to get a used car with at least 1.2l either vauxhall corsa, peugeot 206,or renault clio.I did check some comparison website and i got around 3k+.For your info am 31 and live in Birmingham newtown. Please advice me as am eager to drive since i passed.with my postcode been high can't afford to relocate because of insurance purpuses. Thanks for reading my post and also sorry for the long post.can't sleep since friend told me about this

Re: Am i going to drive?well i hope things will be fine, but what do you think about this postcode stuff? thanks for your prompt reply...(Original post by MrWhosane)
Because you're 31 you'll be fine. Most of us complaining about insurance are under 21. -

Postcode should be fine really, itll make it more expensive then if you lived in a lower risk area but from what ive seen it doesnt affect it that much. Given youre 31 it shouldnt be too expensive anyway.
