When a Muslim rapes a non-Muslim in the UK we are duly concerned about cultural issues that seem to permeate certain Islamic/Asian cultures and create an environment where such behaviour is tacitly accpeted.

When someone makes a thread with no basis, obvious agenda and a very poor argument, it meets with a poor response.

Causality and correlation. Learn about them.

But when their post is 'Another Muslim rapes...' and we take a look at their point, well, turns out there have been a lot of Muslims up to nefarious raping activities lately. of course they have an agenda, but it's a little different to 'Look! Other people rape people toooo!' because the initial point was never 'only Muslims rape'.

And generally those surveys are not 'plucked out of thin air', just because you don;t like what they say doesn't make them invalid.

However awful it is for someone to be raped in Kashmir, that is their issue to deal with and there's little we can do. When it's happening on the streets of this country, then people are going to kick up a fuss and want someone to do something about it.

This isn't even worth replying to, but I'll bite.
The point of my post was not to say "look, other people rape too!". The point was the bias you and your friends have in relation to news like this. When its a non muslim, you're full of your pompous little outrage. Thats perfectly reasonable, everyone is PO'ed when something horrible like that happens, no matter who the perpetrator or victim. Only when the victim is Muslim, you and your friends make it out like its no big deal, or make snide remarks about it. How hypocritical is that?

When news threads are posted, it must be unbiased. If it has an agenda like you admit, its an opinion, not fact. So don't try and paint it that way.

The surveys you post are commissioned by people who have an obvious bias. If the survey isn't bs to start with, it will be manipulated to suit a particular agenda. To top it off, the surveys are never of a proportion of Muslims as it claims to represent. 50 muslims given ambiguous questions by telephone won't give any objective conclusion.

Guess I shall have to reword my apparently offensive post:


As expected the usual crowd have refused to condemn this and instead used it to back their twisted personal opinions and make political points. Just imagine if a Muslim raped a non-Muslim and I came up with something like "But what about when a non-Muslim rapes a Muslim?"

On the whole perhaps not surprising, this kind of thing is a common occurrence in Indian occupied Kashmir. The Indian Army should really get a hint that the Kashmiris do not desire its presence as shown by a massive insurgency, huge protests not to mention the mass graves which are still being found etc. etc.
