I see OP's point. At one point I was adamant I wouldnt consider a relationship with someone Indian. Can't pin point exact reason why- but yeah family pressure, along with some attitude problems from some indian girls I'd met in the past (but met some absolutely lovely ones since). But things have changed. But I am totally more open these days. Though generally, I find fairer skinned (whatever ethinicity) girls more attractive.
I hate this race s**t TBH....it plays too bigger role.

it's not a sin it's just racist and u can be racist to your own race. Got no sympathy for Asian guys who refuse to date any Asian girls and then get rejected by white girls. Obv brought it on themselves.

If they're generally more attracted to white girls then Asian girls it's not racist at all lol. It's just a preference, I'm not attracted to males does that suddenly make me sexist I'm sure they'd rather be single anyway then just settle for someone they aren't even attracted to.

Ye reality is that Asian girls seem to disapprove of the Asian guys. Well from my experience that's what I felt.

Nothing wrong with attraction. I find white girls, chinese girls, asian, african girls etc attractive. But i would never put down the features of people of my own race and say i am not attracted to asian noses or lips etc or i would never date an asian. Why? because not all asian people look the same and there are individual differences. If people of other races did it, that's self hate and it's self hate if british asians do it.

Thanks for trying to get where im coming from.
I'm not against anyone dating or being attracted to any race. It just annoys me when someone says im never going to date this race (especially when that race is their own) or goes into details about features that they dislike on asians like lips, nose , face etc because obviously ALL asians/Indians must have these same features.

Also, you probably had bad experiences with british indians raised in the UK. This does not represent the majority of Indians so no need to generalise Indians as the Indians in the Uk are a bare fraction of Indians worldwide and, as observed by the massive inferiority complex, are not very representative.

Is there a reason for that though? Traditional attitudes, lack of respecting females, sense of entitlement due to being male. Not all asian guys are like that but some may give those vibes which remind asian girls of their strict parents.

A sexual orientation is different to a preference. You can't change sexual orientation while preferences are open to variation. If a gay asian guy said i only date white people and im not attracted to any asians and i would never date one because i don't like the way their lips , nose and face look (or something random as some here have said) then that's racist. You're stereotyping all asian people to have those features or to look like the ones you've seen when in fact many won't. Many might even pass for a white person.

Just having a preference for white girls is not racist but ruling out and generalising everyone from one race is racist.
Flip it around. A white girl says im not attracted to any asian guys because they're all short, have an ill defined nose, have flat lips, beady eyes and unappealing facial hair, and are all traditional and don't treat their women well, expect their women to be servants for them..all unattractive features to me.
I hope you don't consider this racist either.

Not all are arranged these days and not all have been arranged in the past. Also, just because a marriage is arranged does not mean there's no love involved or that it's just a platonic relationship full of care and only sex for procreation.
Some people get introduced by family, they date, like each other then get married. Others might fall in love after marriage. Similar to how people fall in and out of love even in a love marriage.
How do you know that a love marriage is actually full of love? Might be lust, might be someone, might just be comfort, settling for a person with the most attractive traits etc. If it's true love then why do a lot of marriages break up after marriage.

That's good to know. I am at the moment an Indian or what british indians derogatorily call a freshy/fresh. kind of racist i think. I would prefer when british asians generalise on tsr that they refer to those generalisations as british asians because the "Indian" women you generalise are actually British Indian women and do not represent the attitudes and beliefs of Indians. They don't represent us. So if you've had bad experiences with Indian women ..its actually British Indian women not Indian women.


I hope british asians don't feel obligatd to add the asian or Indian part, if they don't want it. If you find no connection or no signifance to your asian roots, you are really just brown british not really asian either. This should be kept in mind.

At least it's good there were more girls than guys..at least parents, especially fathers, are being more open minded about female children. Some places in asia the sex ratio is skewed towards guys. Perhaps asian girls look outside of the race to escape such regressive attitudes.

well it goes both ways. ive read plenty of disapproving threads about asian girls and how asian guys don't prefer them. So it goes both ways and as an unbiased person i can give a neutral view of it.

yeh i agree bro but don't underestimate yourself either. I just don't get how asian guys who say i don't like the appearance of indian girls or their noses, lips etc and i like paleness, don't see how that's not racist. Similarly, indian girls who reject indian guys straight away just assuming they're all backward, traditional, like their parents and exclude all Indians because they assume none have "white" features are just as backward. To be honest, it seems more asian guys have preferences against their race than asian girls..and probably discriminate against their race.

Don't forget all the good stuff asian guys bring to the table like loyalty, reliable, believe in relationships that last forever/marriage, more likely to wait before being sexual, plus usually have good and stable jobs. Heaps of asian guys have that tall, dark, tanned look and increasingly work out so we're not behind in the looks game. Would asian guys who generalise against asian girls be happy with the BBC generalisation about their package due to a random survey (of 1000 people)? I didn't think so. Chances are the asian guys who generalise have met less than 1000 asian females.

what the hell are flat lips? but yes i agree with your post, at least most of it-i don't think it's necessarily racist.
