I got Trafalgar Halls! But what do the numbers mean?
    Hey,

I got the confirmation letter today, I will be staying at 7-4-5 in Trafalgar halls, does anyone know what it's like? Because it was closed when I went to see Portsmouth a few weeks ago.

Also, what do the numbers 7-4-5 mean? I imagine the room number, floor etc but in what order?

Anyone starting Interior Design in September, send me a message!

    Thanks

I am assuming you are on floor 7, in flat 4 and room 5, I read this from last years accommodation confirmations.

I don't know much about Trafalgar; just asking about the letter you got. When did you apply for accommodation? I'm pretty sure I was in the first batch of people to be given their "accommodation pack" but I haven't received a letter back yet; so I'm just curious.

I spent my first year in Trafalgar halls. Great halls. I was in a studio flat on floor 11. Amazing view.

The only annoying aspect of the halls is the fire alarms with the small stairs means that it takes a while to get back in. However, there are fire escape stairs that exit at the back of the building which are hardly ever used during fire alarms and I recommend you take those down.

I don't remember fully, but it was around early April. Don't worry about it though, you should get it in a few days, if not next week.

Thanks for the advice! Can't believe I'm 7th floor, that's gonna be epic. I hope I get a good view too.

    You should do.

Just noticed an error I was floor 13 not 11. Still the location of your flat is close to were mine was 13, 19. So you should have a good view.

I had a friend in a different halls of residents in Portsmouth who had a view of a brick wall about a metre away from his window. He was just damn unlucky on his room position.

I also got trafalgar, thankfully the 10th floor (10-3-3) (I find the bottom rooms a bit claustrophobic, even though I never am )

Praying I get in halls but I just wondered in terms of paying the deposit (haven't got my confirmation yet) how do you pay the £200? Like do you just send them your bank details or have to pay a cheque? I'm so oblivious

You can pay online. When they send you the letter about your halls, they'll give you a website and you can pay it straight through there with your student number. Takes like two minutes, paid yesterday so excited

I've visited it, but due to the passage of time and exams kinda forgotten it

Although there is a interactive room viewer on the website.

Where do we find out when our course starts?

Haha. Ive seen the virtual tour, but those things always make rooms look bigger and better than they are :P having said that I've seen James Watson and apparently it's identical to the rooms of Trafalgar.

I found out when my course starts on the UCAS track thing, where you see whether you've been accepted at Uni or not, it says it there when your course starts. Though we move in to halls on the 15th :3
