Do job advertisements scare anyone else?
Whenever I read through job advertisements I get really scared and worried about applying to them. I just don't feel like I would ever be able to fulfil the 'key responsibilities'. Does anyone else feel like this? I am hoping to get a research position with a company possibly through a graduate scheme, the sector I am looking in want me to be able to give presentations and prepare briefs and maintain a good client relationship. I've spent my university years holed up in the library hunched over books, my people skills are not great. Also when I get into difficult situations (where I have to speak) my entire body shakes and it's very noticeable and my mouth gets dry. Do I even have a chance of gaining employment?

First of all, don't worry. You'll learn these skills as you go along. Just be enthusiastic and 'fake it' until you get there You'll be fine! Good luck.
