Forced to take Alan test level 2
Hi guys I need some help. I was forced to take an Alan test level 2 on english and maths.

    Basically this one: http://www.ocr.org.uk/eassessment/etesting/basicskills/

I was baffled why I needed to take it as I am in set 1 for maths and set 2 for english. And I am quite confident of getting an A* in Maths and my English teacher told me himself that I am going to get a high B or maybe even an A in my English Language GCSE.

The thing is the only people I've seen take the Alan test are the complete dumbos who skip school. So is the school predicting me to fail my english and maths gcses? Have my teachers been lying to me about my grades? I mean I've seen my maths results and their both solid A*s. Or was it just a dream? Wtf help. Give me some reassurance!!!

Have any of you been forced to take the Alan test even though you were predicted As?

Yes, and I wasn't bothered. Yeah it was tediously easy but I didn't lose anything from doing it.

I was forced to take them after I had already got an A* in maths and english. basically your school have to get a certain number of people to pass. dont worry the worst thing that happens is that you get to spend an hour colouring in circles and gain another qualification.
