If we went to war with hostile aliens like the HR Giger Xenomorph - hypothetically, I don't think there would be a problem in terms of fighting them. The problem would be that a significant number of people would call it an illegal war and protest against it -and insist that the whole reason for alien invasion is because of Western imperialism.

3) Would we be able to communicate with them?
4) Would we be even able to recognize them as life?
There is a science fiction story, however, where a kind of living network of interstellar dust comes down to earth, and just clogs up the place -- people have to continually wash their windows and empty their shoes, nothing more exciting than that, until it eventually kills us all by blocking out the sun. I think that sounds like a pretty cool lifeform! I can't remember what the story's called or who it's by though, I only skim-read it a long time ago.Last edited by faber niger; 04-07-2012 at 17:05. -

Although I have the name UFO I don't believe there are any aliens on board.
As history has shown though we tolerate UFO's often in secret so why not?

Either way it wouldn't matter as if aliens did reach earth their technology would be some much more advanced than ours they could do whatever they wanted to us. -

The US government are like the Worldwide Police force. If they do get involved they're criticized, if they do not get involved people accuse them of allowing the injustice to continue.
