Worst Signing(s) in Your Clubs History?
which player or players would you list as the worst player(s) your club has ever signed?

    mine would be for Bolton

Gerald Cid - couldnt defend for anything , had this guy in 2007-08 - Big Sam bought him before he left but he only came when Sammy Lee came in so maybe he could have been better if Big Sam was still there that season

Rasiak - worst striker ever , it is possible , we just sold Anelka that season and we were all hope that we would buy a suitable replacement and i remember last day of the transfer window , it said Bolton had signed a championship striker , i was like come on please let it be some one good and young and then they revealed Rasiak and my head dropped and so it proved with 0 goals in the 5 months of him being here.

    This is for Barcelona.

Marc Overmars simply for the amount we paid for him, good at Arsenal but worth 40 million euro's i think not. Huge waste of money.

Kerrison signed for 14 million yet didnt play one game for us and is going to go without having played one for us. Talk about throwing money away.

Worst probably being Dmytro Chygrinskiy, what can i say just so bad it makes me want to cry, 25 million was spent on him and well i would have paid people to take him off our hands. Slow, poor positional sense, awful on the ball. What Guardiola saw in him i have no idea. We did amazing though to recoup 15 million from Shaktar for him too be fair. Some real shockers that we have signed.

    Igors Stepanovs (just laughable)
Amaury Bischoff (I guarantee Thomas Eisfeld will go the same way, why do we even bother with players like this?)
Park Chu-Young (why did we loan out Vela and spend 4 million on an older, poor man's version of him who we never even bother to play?)
Marouane Chamakh (wouldn't get into the starting line up of any PL club, pretty much sums up what we've become)
Fabianski, Squillaci (make catastrophic errors every time they play)
Hleb (Arsenal fans rated him while he was here which I never understood, so frustrating to watch, and I'm not surprised his career has nosedived)

Have you seen him play. Every cross went out for a throw in. Kleberson was awful funny how he won the world cup.

Well I follow Leicester, and I'd go for Josh Low.

Worst player I've ever seen play for our club. No pace, couldn't cross and despite being big was very poor in the air. Don't know how, to this day, we sold him for £100,000.

I don't see what was so bad about getting Chamakh. He was bought on a free and was only in our starting lineup because RvP was injured. He actually had a good goalscoring run until RvP came back and then seemed to lose all of his confidence.

For a free, it was worth the gamble. Definitely not the worst signing.

Anyway, I'm sure Liverpool fans will have a field day with this.

Makes my eyes water looking back at the transfer. Guardiola must have been high at the time or thought he should wind people up. Shaktar are dumb as well for paying us that much for him. Would have paid them to take him off our hands if i was the chairman.

For Southampton (not a fan but it deserves a mention) Ali Dia because he couldn't even play football and was signed by effectively a prank phone call

Picking for Arsenal is tough since Wenger is an absolute boss in the transfer market, but some of the worst players we've ever signed:
    -Francis Jeffers
    -Cygan
    -Senderos
    -Park

Rodney Marsh is probably the worst for the effect his transfer had on the club. Santa Cruz is a close one, though.

Ade Akinpanicbuyi is the obvious one, how anyone thought he was worth £5m is anyone's guess - likewise Matt Mills.

I'd probably go for Junior Lewis though - possibly the worst player I've ever seen, I've seen people hung-over on a Sunday morning who were better passers than him.

When Real Madrid bought Beckham to sell shirts and got rid of McManaman and Hierro also refusing to extend Makelele's contract whilst firing Del Bosque - worst move ever by Florentino Perez.
