Re: Worst Signing(s) in Your Clubs History?Rose is useless, still living off THAT goal against Arsenal. Mediocre at left back, crap at left wing and worse in central midfield.(Original post by Kaz310)
Agree. I don't rate Rose AT ALL. No idea on what basis to why hes in the GB squad either. If we do sign Fryers, I hope we can get him in now and again. I don't think BAE is going to be able to play all 38 games this year. We were lucky we had him unscathed last year as we had no cover whatsoever for him.
Hopefully AVB will rotate the squad a bit more than Harry did... Disappointed Kranjcar has already been moved on, would have been a very good squad player under a different manager. -
Re: Worst Signing(s) in Your Clubs History?Zlatan Ibrahimovic must be in there as well for one of the worst signings for Barca... was it £60m plus Eto? Crazy.(Original post by johnharris19944)
This is for Barcelona.
Marc Overmars simply for the amount we paid for him, good at Arsenal but worth 40 million euro's i think not. Huge waste of money.
Kerrison signed for 14 million yet didnt play one game for us and is going to go without having played one for us. Talk about throwing money away.
Worst probably being Dmytro Chygrinskiy, what can i say just so bad it makes me want to cry, 25 million was spent on him and well i would have paid people to take him off our hands. Slow, poor positional sense, awful on the ball. What Guardiola saw in him i have no idea. We did amazing though to recoup 15 million from Shaktar for him too be fair. Some real shockers that we have signed. -
Re: Worst Signing(s) in Your Clubs History?are you kidding me malouda isn't chelsea's worst signing, he is possibly one of the best chelsea signings. In 2009/10 when chelsea won pl him and drogba were pretty much the reason chelsea won the title(Original post by hbk4894)
a question for Chelsea fans and football fans in general , i remember watching Florent Malouda a few years back and thought he was quite bad , would you say he was one of your worst signings? -

Re: Worst Signing(s) in Your Clubs History? There have been a few for Forest. He does top the lot.
Oh, and McClaren.
He was not the worst signing for Barca at all. When he was played in position, he was banging them in for fun.(Original post by J10)

He just had a little problem called Messi demanding to be moved from the wing into his position...Last edited by Alpharius; 09-07-2012 at 17:59. -
Re: Worst Signing(s) in Your Clubs History? Also saw that lol they must have slipped crack in the execs coffee or something.(Original post by Alexx53)
Haha to be fair he was only on loan, so didn't waste too much money
Just read this on Wikipedia haha; He missed training when he mistakenly thought he had the day off, and was pictured asleep on the bench during Real Madrid's match against Villarreal
Perhaps they confused him with someone else?

Coentrao? Are you serious? He's always looked good when I've watched him and I've never heard anyone talk him down. Maybe I've been mislead

Re: Worst Signing(s) in Your Clubs History?
Doubtless it'll have already been mentioned, but Thomas Brolin, what a waste of space. He actually admitted to playing badly on purpose fairly recently:

Roque Junior and Paul Rachubka also deserve honourable mentions.
