Re: Van Persie confirms he WILL NOT extend his contract.I would blame the club for having a relatively low wage cap given competitors - Torres was earning 170k a week last season for doing f all most of the time whereas RVP made them a one man team and is single handedly responsible for their cl position.

Lets be honest now, he had 1 good season. Henry left in 2007 and rvp only stepped up to the plate 4/5 years and countless injuries later. Even Adebayor out shadowed him in 07/08.
We will move on easily without him i rather have a team than all the focus being on this one player (eg fabregas, rvp) things shouldn't be centred around one player its unhealthy. We don't need a ****ing marquee player we're a ****ing team and we are Arsenal football club.
Why the feck do we owe Van Persie trophies, he ****ing owes us after so many injury plagued seasons as we still showed faith in him. He scored all these goals and still we won nothing. If he hadn't missed that sitter against AC Milan maybe things could have been different.
Did we owe Manuel Almunia trophies as well? i mean he had one good season just like van persie.
BTW Liverpool fans please stfu stop ****ing lording it over arsenal fans its not the 1980's anymore. -

Apparently RvP will be holding contract talks with Arsenal this weekend/start of next week.
Not as black and white as it first seemed. Either he's doing a Wayne Rooney, or he's been promised changes behind the scenes. -
