    I'd pick it up.

The only time I wouldn't keep it is if I'd seen the person drop it. Unlike the middle aged woman that tried to claim a tenna I had just dropped getting money out of a cash machine. The cheek of some people!

But what if someone had a camera set up, complete with invisible string attached to the fiver to pull it away as you go to pick it up? (yes I'm paranoid)

Take it. If I know who dropped it, will give it to them. If someone shouts "I dropped my fiver, where is it?!" I will announce that I have it and give it to them.

Honor my friend. Leave it for honors sake.
I don't see how rejecting free money in any way damages my honour. Assuming that no one was harmed in the process of obtaining it.

This has happened to me three times with a fiver, and once with a twenty. I'm very lucky I guess. I kept all of them.

But if I saw who it belonged to, I'd give it to them.

Honest truth, in the last month I have found a £5 and £20 notes on the exact same street! There's a school down that road so I'm assuming it was from them...

I found a tenner last week, so I went into Thornton's bought a box of chocolates and handed them out on the street.

Almost certainly take it. Depending on where I found money, the minimum amount I'd try to reunite with its owner would be about £10 or so.

Finder's keepers! It's basically the law...

Plus, I must've made about £200 merely from picking up tenners and fivers that I kept finding in clubs last year, no lie! Also found a baggie of coke once :wink2:

If it was in a wallet, no.
If I saw someone drop it, I'd give it back.
If it was just lying there, I'd pick it up, wave it in the air and shout "I found it! I found the golden ticket!"

My friend found a ten pound note once in a swimming pool car park next to our school. She took it in to the school reception... I was like "It's a car park! Anyone could've dropped it! Keep it! Keep it! You don't get brownie points for this!"

Or maybe I just have no morals.

Unless I saw the person who dropped it, I would definitely take it.
