Guilt complex
I live perpetually in fear of being found out or something bad happening even though I don't have any particular secrets but it is agonizing.
Even when I get results from exams, I constantly check and refresh them online for fear of mistakes.
I feel guilty over a lot of things and can't let go. My heart is in my throat when people say, 'I need to talk to you'
I could give a lot more examples but was wondering if anyone feels the same. If you did then what did you do to get rid of it? -
Re: Guilt complexSounds like OCD to me. I have OCD and experience similar fears all the time. It doesn't agonise me that much and I've learned to ignore it.(Original post by Anonymous)

You should consider meeting a psychiatrist or psychologist. -
Re: Guilt complex
Just some sort of anxiety disorder - a common disorder in this day and age where we feel we are being "watched" a lot. I have it too and it really does hold you back. Solid and genuine personal relationships are the answer, that or drugs. Seriously, you may want to try borrowing someone else's meds for a bit and see how it goes.
