This is so sad. His family were so heartbroken during their TV appeal. Really hope they find him, my brother was at this gig, can't imagine what his family are going through.

Has this been on national or regional TV? I've not seen any TV Coverage about this down here.

What his poor family are going through is unimaginable. Don't give up hope!

Why does my post upset you? I'm being realistic. It is your fault if you interpreted my post as cold and uncaring. The likely scenario is that he has been murdered, and that is sad. Would it make you feel better if I piled on fake hope like a 15 year old girl? "I'm sure he'll turn up", "He's probably staying with a friend", "He's probably asleep in a ditch recovering from a hangover". Get real.

Over-emotional retards like you are the bane of humanity...
I'm not going to get into a debate with you beacuse I feel this thread has been tarnished enough by your post. Suffice to say you are the bane of humanity, not myself.

It was regional TV. The Stone Roses on their facebook webpage are also appealing for help which I think is nice.

Actually, unemphatic retards like you are the bane of humanity

I mean don't get me wrong, most people would entertain the idea of said guy being dead, but effectively all you are is a cheif who doesn't give a flying **** about most people
statistically most missing people are found within 48 hours so it's a fact that he's probably dead. It is a harsh analysis of course and we should do everything to find him but swearing and being nasty at people such as your doing is not helping anything. Calm down.

I didn't reply to the other guy because he said he wasn't interested in a debate. You, however, seem to want one.

Unemphatic? That isn't a word. But you are again, like the the poster above, confusing my rationality with callousness, even though I specifically said that the situation was sad. I have not insulted him, I have not insulted his family, I have not made any jokes, nor have I made light of the situation. I stated that I think he is dead, which I believe is the most rational and objective determination to make given the circumstances.

Now, are there any other baseless assertions you would like to make today?

This doesn't look hopeful. The only person I can remember being found after a TV appeal was shannon matthews.

Know how you feel. An old school friend of mine went missing for a couple of weeks last year, turned out the muppet had split up with his girlfriend and 'need some time out'.

They found him living with some 'Occupy' protesters in Birmingham I think.

Hopefully it will be a similar situation here.

    EDIT:

Learn to be a bit more careful with your words as to avoid hurting people who may emotional ties to said story. I'm not insulted one bit by your opinion, but I think it is bang out of order for you to be saying to someone "Over-emotional retards like you are the bane of humanity..." when they took offence to your blunt opinion.

You have effectively shared an opinion which, whilst true, will often upset people. Furthermore you made a baseless accusation towards that person for getting insulted with you. It is entirely your problem dude. I am just being blunt myself and I hope you can appreciate that :p:

Lol and her mother hid her all along.

It's less than a week ago so I'm still clinging to the tiniest bit of hope - unlike the completely irrational hope that Madeleine McCann isn't dead.

Not sure how that is over-emotional. You attempt to display rationality but it is a paradox to state that humans should not feel compassion or emotion for another potentially in danger. In a logical scenario, your post is completely irrelevant; if you believe he is dead, why make the post when it achieves nothing?

The post has been removed now but it was because of his use of the words 'retard' and the f word that made him seem over the top - so the person you replied to has a point

I used the word "unemphatic" which is, according to the oxford dictionary, a valid word. You should have brought up the fact that this word doesn't mean what I wanted it to mean  Suffice to say I meant that you lack empathy.

The problem isn't your rationality. I'll be honest with you dude, every other user on this thread has entertained the idea you have stated. I don't hate you for stating that you believe that said person is dead because that is obviously a possibility. The problem is when you come out with lines like "Over-emotional retards like you are the bane of humanity... "

The problem here is that by sharing your strong personal beliefs you're actually insulting/hurting other people. Your ideas aren't unique dude. Everyone entertains what you have stated. By sharing your true feelings you have come across as a very insensitive person. Then when someone has taken insult to your post you have called them the bane of humanity.

You see, people like you are actually the bane of humanity. EVERY SINGLE ****ER in the world has the brain capacity to deduce that this chris brahney might well be dead, but only the cheifs sit on their ass and make comments which provide no helpful insight and insult people who have emotional ties to the story. Why don't you get off your ass and go help to find this chris guy? At least then when you don't find him you'll have validated your theory of him being dead and you'd feel better for doing something constructive :p:

Suffice to say, I don't care one bit about your opinion because I share it. But to give **** to someone who got insulted by you and to call them the bane of society is showing a distinct lack of empathy. If you share this sort of opinion then you should expect to insult someone!

If any of this is baseless, then so is your comment to the poor user who took offense at your comment. You know, the " Over-emotional retards like you [who are] are the bane of humanity... "
Do you realise you posted more than one and a half paragraphs worth of text to a complete stranger?? Don't you have a job or something?
