Any thoughts on Maria de Villota? Horrific accident...
What happened was absolutely terrible! The whole incident was really strange though.. Can't believe she lost an eye as well.. sadly, her F1 career is over before it even begun properly.. On a brighter note, her motorsport career may not be over.

A graphic view on the incident. Someone on F1Fanatic posted it, so just sharing.

    No cascades o_O.

    Interesting stuff.

Looks like MGP's upgrades are probably based around suspension geometry and airflow.

McLaren should be strong around here, high speed corners is their strength.

    Not sure if serious...

There is no high speed anything at the moment! if it stays as it is, it'll be the best driver wins.

Weather forecasts seems to suggest a dry FP3. But Qually is looking like it could be wet, or at least changeable and a wet race seems almost a foregone conclusion.

    Not really.

Cars with certain characteristics always win in wet races, i.e Alonso at Malaysia. If the car is good at high speed, they (Hamilton not Button ), will gain a chunk of time where the rest won't.

So your not at UEA ?

Might be off topic, but has your lease ended for your accommodation? Wondering.....

    Rain? Brilliant.

Although I still am baffled at the choice to keep the DRS zone at Wellington when we have a massive great long straight at Hangar instead. I don't remember it working particularly well there last year...

This was posted from The Student Room's iPhone/iPad App
Leading onto the Wellington straight is a slow corner so the cars will be closer together compared to the high speed maggots-beckets section. Also the straights are not that different in length and there is a larger braking zone at the end of the Wellington straight thus increasing chances of overtaking.

I am a UEA student but I'm home for the summer now. My lease for halls ended on the 16th June but I've been home since the 6th as most of my friends had gone by then.
