Just wondering what the demographic at QMUL is like... Also what percentage of the student body is international? And what are they like on average, like typical rich international students?

What do you mean by international, because we have a decent amount from the EU states, more than ones from elsewhere.
The only rich internationals I have seen are the ones who come for a semester from the states..........everyone else is a mixture, quite a lot of south Asians but still quite diverse compared to off campus area.

Large asian demographic. People are generally quite friendly and nice, although I'm sure they are at all universities. I don't think many students are pompous or pretentious which is something you get in spades in other unis.

Ok, are the south asian international students attractive looking or do they look like freshies?

Thats a weird question to ask............well not complete freshie looking there are some who clearly are from abroad they adjust to things later on, than theres those who fit in perfectly normally with American accents.

    Depends what course you do?

The vast majority of people on my course are white, home students. There are a few internationals, though.

I honestly don't know why people ask this question, surely it doesn't matter what the demographic is?

Lots of white middle class British, loads of Hipsters, a rather sizable chunk of Americans on campus and yeah there's a large Asian community but no more than the other London university, there's probably less than LSE and Imperial actually. The majority is white middle class British kids though contrary to TSR's opinion.

Slightly less repulsive than Goldsmiths' hipsters, but this should give you a good idea:

Quite a mixture of people but a lot of Asians. People are generally quite grounded but it depends on your course too.

You might meet some in your halls, but otherwise not really. The SMD has two libraries of its own and its own students union. QMUL and BL are pretty separate entitites.
