    Getting photos from a newspaper
I didn't know where to put this but I guess news - newspaper...

Anyway, on the 28th June I had my prom and loads of photos were taken by the local paper, when me and a group of friends had our photos taken we were asked our names and stuff, I bought the newspaper today and we were not in it. They wrote in the article to go with it and said about people coming in a fire engine, a tractor and a group of boys on scooters, they have pictures for the tractor and the tractor but we travelled in the fire engine and we got nothing I guess I'm a little hurt after we all got our hopes up over it and we got nothing, anyway what I wanted to know was if there is any way we could still get a copy of the photo, it's not on the website but them again none of our schools prom ones are, how would I go about ordering the photo? They have our names so would that work?

If you contact the paper they may have copies, or be able to put you in contact with the photographer who took the pics. You will probably have to pay for them though.

It's standard to be able to buy any photos of you that are in a local paper. I don't know if this applies to unpublished photos, but it's worth contacting the paper to see if it's possible.
