NavyStripe's dress size drop
Helloo!
So I decided to enter this competition to help motivate myself through a difficult summer, keeping up my current rate of weight loss. I don't particularly need to lose much more, but to tone up and feel more confidence within myself would be good
Previously to this, I was on a Paleo diet of sorts. I cut out carbs, gluten, dairy (apart from tea) from my diet and went to the gym 4 times a week, concentrating on weights with warm ups on cardio. This led to me losing a stone and a half in around 10 weeks. This was going really well and I would have kept it up, if I hadnt of had to move back home for summer. Home is a place where there is always snacks and naughty food in the cupboard, shouting at me to eat it whereas at uni, if I don't have it in the cupboard, I know itll take effort from me to go and get it so I tend to stick to it easily. Also, as it is mostly my parents who will buy the food and cook me meals, it is difficult to keep with the rules of the diet. I do not have access to a gym here as they all require 3 month minimum contract or silly expensive so thats a no go for the time being. As I have a summer job at a restaurant, this requires shift work and therefore, making it harder to keep up the "only eat when your hungry" attitude as I have to eat whenever I get the chance. This may sound like a list of excuses and it probaly is, hence why I need something like this to stop my mind letting me think that it would be too hard to lose weight now.
Soo! My aim is to follow DVDs like Jillian Matthews 30 day shred and others to see the result of them, Go for a run once or twice a week depending on my shifts at work and eat healthy with no snacks. As I am on my feet all day at work, this will also have an effect on my legs which may help. I'll do weekly morning measurements and weigh ins and upload the results to here.
I would really appreciate feedback and encouragement from you as well as any tips you have considering my shift work lifestyle. Thanks for reading this loong post x
