Headhunters
I can't find any internship being 26 yo without any experience in any financial-related job.
The biggest problem is that I am applying to a few places, because I can't really find a decent amount of offers in the internet.
What about using agencies/headhunters? Is it something that usually works?
Do you have any experience about it?
Thank you! -
Re: HeadhuntersCornell Partnership, for example, is for interns/grads, but it's more of an external recruiter, so you can't really call it 'headhunting', but an agency, definitely.(Original post by Herr)
Not at an internship level.
IBs pay agencies / headhunters loads of money to find them candidates but not when it comes to interns or even analyst. -

Why do you want to be a 26 year old intern?
@OP : If you're not enrolled in an university/educational institute, firms can't hire you as an intern due to employment laws -
Re: Headhunters
http://www.giveagradago.com are quite decent, they specialise in internships. However, again you might find you struggle as most of the people applying for these internships already have work experience

Headhunters are employed to find high quality people to take senior positions.

b) Good to know. But since I am finishing my Master, it should not be a problem! -
Re: HeadhuntersI have had a similar problem in the South West... check out www.enternships.com there should be some good opportunities and advice for you on there. Also I have recently registered with a new company www.careers4students.co.uk its coming soon but looks like a cool site... it has internships and graduate jobs... and you can even post videos CVs!(Original post by francio)
Okay, so I might have used the wrong word.
Isn't there any kind of agency that provides internship placement or consultancy about it?
hope this helps mate... good luck!
