Msc Accounting and Finace - Math skills requirements

Hello guys,

could anyone please shed light on how "difficult" the math and quantitative parts of the Msc in Accounting and Finance at LSE are?

Lets assume im talkin about the basic courses, so not necessarily Deriavatives or Forecasting Financial Time Series.

I scored Q48 on the GMAT and was planning to refresh basics in Arithmetics and Algebra.

Or is the contect more like the quant Part of CFA Level 1?

Any insight would be highly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

Hey, Im asking the same question....btw did you get an offer from LSE because I did for accounting and finance only thing IM worried about is the maths because I suck at it :frown:

The math is not hard at all.
I haven't seen a single derivative in courses such as AC420 and FM430. After that, it depends on your course choice.

But overall I would say that there is not much math in this MSc.
